This last weekend was AMAZING!!! I drove up to see Tawny, and met her at work while she was closing. Her co-worker thought I was DD for people at the bar down the street :). Anyways, the first night was fun, but boring, since I got there late all we did was get some food and sleep.
On Saturday we went to get breakfast, or was that Sunday... Either way we got some delicious fucking breakfast from the strangest of places. It was a donut shop ran by Asians, which had the best donuts I've ever had. I got a chocolate cake donut and it was crispy on the outside and fresh and fluffy on the inside. But beyond that there was so much more. They also offered Chinese food and sandwhiches, however that is not what I ate. I ate their menu item simply called "breakfast" Which consisted of 2 eggs, cooked to order perfectly, frozen rectangle hash browns, four pieces of toast, and bacon Though simple it was a delicious breakfast, but the best part of it, it was under 5 dollars. I paid about 8 bucks for 3 donuts and 1 breakfast. Then we went to Whole Foods and got some tasty treats, bitchin.
Later on Saturday, WOLVERINE!!!! It was a pretty badass movie, Logan was Berserking left and right, getting his ass kicked pre-adamantium and kicking ass post. Shortly thereafter Tawny had to go to work. I went in near the end of her shift and got a burger and some sweet potato fries, sadly no milkshake, in retrospect, I should have gotten a milkshake, but that's alright.
Sunday was good and relaxing, we didn't do much up to Tawny working again, but after she went to work I drove around RP and SR and got a haircut, I needed it. After work she was pretty tired, and so was I. And besides we had plans for Monday.
On Monday, we went to San Francisco!!! It was awesome! I feel like I've been there a lot lately, and that is a very good thing. We did fun touristy stuff. We started at the Ferry Building for foods. We got Lobster Chowder and Seafood Gumbo, both of which were amazing! Then as we were walking down Embarcadero towards Pier 39 we walked into a fancy ass chocolate shop. But they had something quite special there. Drinking Chocolate shots. The richest, chocolatiest, most delicious thing I've ever drank. Tawny had hers with espresso and quite enjoyed not only the flavor, but the affects of the caffeine. Then we stumbled around town until we finally found Haight Ashbury, I promised Tawny awesome vintage clothes stores. We wandered around there, didn't find much stuff for her in the vintage stores, but then we saw this random story called Loyal Army Clothing that was totally Tawny. They were kind of expensive so Tawny decided to wait and buy things from them online little by little :). From there we went back to Rohnert Park, specifically to Shangri-La which is our favorite Himalayan food place. They make the best Chicken Tikka Masala I've eaten. Their curries are amazing as well, and they serve tasty tasty lambs.
Then I had to head home, work in the morning and all. It was really nice, but I feel like I need a day to myself now, haha. I don't know what it is, but I just can't handle being active 7 days a week, it drives me crazy. Every once in a while I just need a day where I don't hang out with people, don't work, and just be quiet. That doesn't necessarily mean I don't do anything though, sometimes I like to do things alone, like going for a walk or to the dog park. Window shopping at electronics stores and hardware stores and occassionally Costco XD.
I was realizing the other day when me and Dick were talking about girlfriends that the majority of me and Tawny's relationship has been long distance. And while we have a very strong relationship, and I love her to death, it definitely has a lot of downsides to it. What I'm getting at is that even though I know she doesn't want to move back into her parents house, I'm excited to have her be a 3 minute drive away again. I'm nervous though, because I'm not sure I'm going to know how to be in a close distance relationship again :). I feel like we've grown into this habit, which makes sense for long-distance, that anytime we're close to each other we can't stand being away from each other. I do know that it's going to take us some time though. That first week, or month, or however long we're going to be inseparable, so you all better be ready for that!
I love you Tawny. You're the greatest thing that's ever happened to me, and I'm never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you ;)
Seriously though Tawny, I hope you know just how much you mean to me, because it's a lot.
Oh yeah, those are Twilight Heart Candies.
And I don't know how to cut, and I don't wanna learn.
